The workshop was founded by a team of skilled professionals who wanted to create a one-stop shop for all automotive needs, ranging from mechanical and electrical repairs to Warrant of Fitness (WOF) inspections, tyre services, and general vehicle servicing. Their dedication to excellence quickly earned them a loyal customer base, many of whom have been returning for years due to the exceptional service they receive.

Simon - Owner / operator
Simon is a fully qualified Mechanic, Auto Electrician and has his WOF Authority.
Simon absolutely loves owning his own business and is always striving to provide the best service to all that visit Sawyers Arms Automotive.
Simon will always take the time to explain any faults with customers vehicles and is always available to talk through questions.
Simon fills his spare time playing Darts, being on the board of directors at The Papanui, walking his Hungarian Vizsla, Fishing, cooking delicious meals for Lisa and their boys and catching up with friends and family.
Lisa - Business Manager
Lisa is the office guru who tries her best to organise the workshop, Lisa spends her days doing the invoicing, ordering parts, answering the phone, taking the bookings and making sure they guys have everything they need to make the workshop run smoothly.
In the evenings and weekends Lisa spends her time running around after the family, walking her Jack Russell x Foxy, baking, making candles and spending time with family & friends
Raki - Mechanic
Raki is a fully qualified mechanic, auto electrician and has his WOF authority.
Raki has a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to the automotive industry and will always take the time to explain exactly what needs to be fixed on your vehicle or what items are coming up.
Raki is a dedicated father to his son, they enjoy gaming, going to the pools and spending time in Kaikoura.
